K&M Maintenance Services, LLC is a mature building service company servicing many commercial companies in the northern NJ area. We also service over eight hundred thousand square feet of healthcare space. We are behind the scenes cleaning labs, urgent care centers, exam rooms and operating rooms in familiar brand-named facilities.
With the onset of the corona virus pandemic, K&M implemented companywide refresher trainings in both our OSHA safety standards (Bloodborne Pathogens) and our CDC based best practice training modules developed by our Infection Prevention professional, Debbie Hurst. Our in-house training center is an instructor led program. We focus on best practice infection prevention cleaning standards, which include the management of virus outbreaks, including SARS-CoV-2. We have implemented this training with both our healthcare and non-healthcare workers. Our non-healthcare cleaners are now utilizing healthcare infection prevention cleaning standards including focused attention to high touch surfaces and decontamination in commercial settings.
